The world’s first Rubbish Café featured a zero-waste menu created by eco-chef Tom Hunt, while its up-cycled decor was designed by eco-designer Max McMurdo. Members of the public could pay by bringing recyclable plastic and putting it into the correct bins at the door.

The Red Consultancy and Ecover won the Grand Prix at The Drum Experience Awards 2018.

The Ecover bottle was 100% recyclable, and made from 100% recycled plastic. Everything in the cafe was made from recyclable or upcycled materials
